Pomodoro Timer Calculator
Add up a Pomodoro session: it multiplies your Pomodoro count by work minutes for total focus time, adds a short break between each and a long break after every 4th, and shows the full session in H:MM.
What this calculator does
The Pomodoro Timer Calculator estimates your result instantly from the values you enter, using standard date & time formulas. Add up a Pomodoro session: it multiplies your Pomodoro count by work minutes for total focus time, adds a short break between each and a long break after every 4th, and shows the full session in H:MM. Calculations run in your browser, so nothing you type is sent to a server, and the output is an estimate rather than a certified or official figure.

About Pomodoro Timer Calculator
Plan a study or work block by the numbers. Enter how many Pomodoros you will do and the work minutes each, and the tool totals your focus time. It then places a break between consecutive Pomodoros, using the long break after every 4th and the short break otherwise.
Total focus, total break, and the combined session are all shown in hours and minutes as H:MM.
Formula & Mathematical Calculation
focusMin = n × work
totalMin = focusMin + breakMin
Derived directly from the verified calculation function in the tool engine.
Calculation Example
Enter 8 Pomodoros of 25 Work Minutes, with 5 Short Break Minutes and 15 Long Break Minutes. Focus time is 8 × 25 = 200 minutes, shown as 3:20.
Breaks fall between the 8 Pomodoros, so there are 7 of them: the one after the 4th is long (15) and the other six are short (5), giving 45 minutes, or 0:45. The Total Session box reads 4:05.
Key Benefits
- Totals focus time as your Pomodoro count multiplied by the work minutes
- Counts breaks between Pomodoros, using a long break after every fourth one
- Presents focus, break, and full-session time in a readable H:MM format
How to Use this Calculator
-
Set the count
Enter how many Pomodoros you plan to do in the Number of Pomodoros field (at least 1). -
Set the minutes
Fill Work Minutes, Short Break Minutes, and Long Break Minutes (after every 4th); blank fields fall back to 25, 5, and 15. -

Assumptions & Limitations
What the calculation assumes
- Every value you enter is treated as an exact, known amount.
- Any rate or interval you enter is assumed to hold for the whole period unless the form asks for it separately.
- Results use standard published formulas and account only for the values entered above.
- Rounding is applied for display; the underlying calculation uses your full precision.
- Results are returned in the same units you enter, unless the tool states the output unit.
What it does not cover
- Pomodoro Timer Calculator produces a calculated result for reference and learning, not a certified or official measurement.
- Real-world outcomes differ when tolerances, rounding rules or local standards apply.
- Definitions and standards vary by region and change over time; verify the convention that applies to your case.
- Figures are only as accurate as the inputs you supply — check them before acting on the result.
- For work where the result carries real consequences, confirm it against an authoritative source.
