Period Tracker Calculator

This tool projects the next three period start dates by adding one, two, and three cycle lengths to the first day of your last period. Each date is shown in year-month-day format.

What this calculator does

The Period Tracker Calculator estimates your result instantly from the values you enter, using standard health & fitness formulas. This tool projects the next three period start dates by adding one, two, and three cycle lengths to the first day of your last period. Each date is shown in year-month-day format. Calculations run in your browser, so nothing you type is sent to a server, and the output is an estimate rather than a certified or official figure.

About Period Tracker Calculator

The Period Tracker Calculator takes the first day of your last period and a cycle length in days. It adds the cycle length once, twice, and three times to that start date to project the next three expected period start dates.

Each projected date is displayed in year-month-day format. The cycle length is accepted between 20 and 45 days.

Formula & Mathematical Calculation

Next Period = f(First Day of Last Period, Cycle Length (days))

Calculated according to standard health formulas implemented in the calculator core.

Calculation Example

Enter a last period start of 2026-03-01 and a cycle length of 28 days. Adding 28 days gives 2026-03-29.

Adding 56 and 84 days gives 2026-04-26 and 2026-05-24. The three boxes show these as the next, following, and third projected period dates.

Key Benefits

  • Projects three upcoming period start dates from one start date and a cycle length.
  • Adds the cycle length in fixed multiples, so the intervals are evenly spaced.
  • Shows each date in a clear year-month-day format.
  • Free, browser-based, and requires no sign-up.

Assumptions & Limitations

What the calculation assumes

  • Every value you enter is treated as an exact, known amount.
  • Any rate or interval you enter is assumed to hold for the whole period unless the form asks for it separately.
  • Results use standard published formulas and account only for the values entered above.
  • Rounding is applied for display; the underlying calculation uses your full precision.
  • Results are returned in the same units you enter, unless the tool states the output unit.

What it does not cover

  • Period Tracker Calculator produces a calculated result for reference and learning, not a certified or official measurement.
  • Real-world outcomes differ when tolerances, rounding rules or local standards apply.
  • Definitions and standards vary by region and change over time; verify the convention that applies to your case.
  • Figures are only as accurate as the inputs you supply — check them before acting on the result.
  • For work where the result carries real consequences, confirm it against an authoritative source.
